Training Schedules:
The schedules are currently under development. You will be notified once they are confirmed.

Parent volunteer program:
As we gear up for the summer, we have not yet been advised if our usual meets and competitions can take place. Therefore, the volunteer deposit has been waived. A modified program and incentive is being planned. Details will be posted on the website soon.

2nd sport option:
Consider signing up for a 2nd (or 3rd) sport for $125 per additional sport.
FAQ: What about conflicts in training times of different sports?

  • Swimming and Water Polo (for example) would seldom overlap so there is minimal training time conflicts between these sports.
  • Swimming and Diving however have occasional overlaps in training times. That said, each sport offers multiple schedules that will give athletes plenty of opportunity to participate meaningfully in both sport.

Hello Shark Members

As many of you are aware there was a recent PHO order issued for the Vancouver Coastal and Fraser Health Regions. Part of this order puts strict restrictions on all indoor activities especially around those that could not maintain the 2 meter physical distancing.

After communicating with the City of Coquitlam today and reviewing our Covid-19 Safety plan we will be continuing with our regularly scheduled swim practices.

For those of you that may have concerns, our Covid-19 Safety Plan has been designed to allow our athletes and coaches the ability to operate in a very safe manner. Our plan is primarily focused on  maintaining 2 meters of physical distance and in instances where that is not possible all parties need to wear a mask.  Along with our recent update of making masks mandatory during activation and entering/exiting the pool we believe our current practices and safety plan meet the requirements put forth by the Provincial Health Office. If anyone has any questions or concerns please reach out to VicePresident@Coquitlamsharks.org
