Dear BCSSA Swim Club Presidents & Board,
Thank you for your patience over the past 2 weeks with the intake of applications for this year’s BCSSA Scholarships and Regional Prizes.
There was some kind of technical glitch in the google form set up that occurred in the week preceding the deadline, in which I also suffered a concussion and couldn’t look at the computer screen for any length of time to fix it. It was, as they say, a perfect storm which combined to create problems for all those applying for scholarships this year!
I am now back at work full time and will accept applications for these scholarships through to the end of this week, July 16, in order to accommodate those who have tried and tried and tried again and again to submit online and could not.
I have attached fillable pdf application forms for submission. Individuals may choose the “one size fits all” form (“Fillable-Scholarship Application Form”) to apply for any of the scholarships or regional prizes (including the Jason Parish Scholarship) OR, for those in Simon Fraser region only, they may choose to ONLY fill out the Jason Parish Form.
Anyone who has already submitted an application form will be contacted in the next 24 hours to confirm receipt and completeness of their application. If you are not contacted by Wednesday noon, and believe you HAVE submitted an application, please reach out to me at penny@bcsummerswimming.com!
